Born in 1965 in Brazil, Augusto Zanovello studied Art at Belo Horizonte before moving to France in 1985.
After studies at the university of Paris III and Les Gobelins, he graduated from Louis Lumière cinema school in 1991.
He then worked at different animation studios as animator, layout artist and storyboard artist. He also directed several shorts and TV series. His short film « Women’s letters » won more than 30 prizes and was selected in more than 110 festivals. He is also a screenwriter for film and television.
In June 2015, he founded the production company Komadoli Studio, specialized in stop-motion animation.
Self-taught animator, writer and director Joachim worked since 2000 as a 3D animator in animation and SFX CGI studios in Paris.
In 2005, he directed two animation series in cut-out for canal + : Moto the young explorer and Funny Animals.
Passionated with stop-motion, he began in 2010 to work on several project that result to his first stop motion short film Skinned, coproduced by Arte.
Emmanuel graduated from EDHEC in 2009 with a master’s degree in entrepreneurship. He spent several years working for major international groups before joining Cinema Defacto in 2016 as a production coordinator on several feature films, mostly international co-productions selected in A class festivals. He then worked for several production companies before joining Komadoli studio in 2019 as a producer.²²
